(KEE) developed a “Turn KEE” BOUTIQUE Renovation Business called INTERIORS BY KEE, providing start to finish projects.

Early Childhood Years - Design Inspiration: As a child in primary school Kerri loved colouring and colour, Kerri's father encouraged Kerri to enter the contest run by The Sunday Times and Kerri won the colouring contest due to her love of colour and colour distribution. Kerri was a privileged child who grew up in a brand new Display Home with all the mod cons and fitout (On Trend for the Era).  It was ultimately a well designed floor plan that made it a perfect home for a family who loved to entertain inside and outside due to the design flow and open plan, complete with exposed concrete aggregate which is still to this day durable and an On Trend product. Kerri's father was a member and President of a Rotary Club for years, our designer display home was used to entertain frequently.  Kerri's parents had a close relationship with surrounding neighbours/families who were similar in social standing and hobbies, some being members of The Rotary Club Whitfords, hence our family entertained frequently during Kerri's primary school years including hosting New Years Eve parties, BBQ's, (Themed) Rotation Dinner Nights where each neighbour would prepare one course only, the families would all walk and or drive to each other's homes, so Kerri's family house design was perfect for both adults and children and Kerri experienced form and function of a well designed floor plan from an early age and took a keen interest in home designs/interior trends

Kerri’s father later introduced Kerri to a new hobby when Kerri was in primary school year 6 to year 8 high school. Kerri enjoyed viewing new display homes with her Father on weekends, she had a passion of keeping up with the latest floor plans and interior design trends.  Kerri would walk through a display home and could immediately interpret house plans from a functional point of view at such an early age. Kerri could interpret house floor plans and re-arrange the floor plan by removing walls and relocating rooms in her head at such a young age.  This became the starting point of Kerri’s interest  and love of house designs, of which was shelved until her later years;

Prior to commencement of study in the design field and without any formal knowledge of the design principles, I completed the interior fit-out, styling and an addition of an outdoor balcony requiring special approvals by various authorities, for our own 4 Level Warehouse Apartment located in “The Boans Warehouse - East Perth” (a heritage listed building). This apartment was chosen to be featured in two design magazines and other various media publications.  It was clear that design and renovations were my passion and forte’, hence I pursued study, completed a Diploma, achieved my dream of becoming a proprietor and a dream career in the design field.

Kerri later completed diploma qualifications in the design industry and won a competition “The People’s Choice Category” for “The Innovation Interior Styling Award” held at “The Bayview Shopping Centre”– Claremont, this competition had entrants who had completed the same dipoma throughout WA. (KEE) renovations are featured in various design magazines, newspaper articles and other media publications.
